Arindam Nath is an Assistant Postdoctoral Researcher at the School of Astronautics, Harbin Institute of Technology. The fields he is engaged in include continuum mechanics, mathematical analysis, and numerical methods. His main research focuses on solid mechanics, wave phenomena, and vibrations in solid media, including the propagation of waves in magnetoelastic, piezoelectric, piezomagnetic, and porous media. He has published 10 SCI papers in journals such as the European Journal of Mechanics-A/Solids, Journal of Engineering Mechanics, Acta Mechanica Sinica, and Journal of Engineering Mathematics. With financial support from national and international sources such as SERB ITS (India), ICIAM FS (Tokyo), SIAM (USA), and ECM (Spain), he has given presentations at numerous international conferences. In 2023, he was nominated for the Young Scientist Award in Solid Mechanics at the Congress of the Indian Society for Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (ISTAM).
