Prof. Yao Li
Biography
Yao Li has been a Professor of Materials Science in Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) since 2005 and leads the laboratory of Functional Composite Materials. He received the Ph.D. degree from HIT in 2000. He is the author or co-author of over 200 papers, 80 patents, and three books. He was selected in “New Century Excellent Talents program”, “Distinguished Young Scholars for the Heilongjiang Province”. He was awarded “Science and Technology Award for the Youth of China”, “National Award of the Outstanding Scientific and Technological Workers” and “the First Prize for Heilongjiang Natural Science ”.
Research Fields
Fabrication and engineering meta-materials, meta-surfaces and their light and thermal modulation properties; the intelligent light and thermal regulation materials and devices, including electrochromic, and thermochromic materials.
