Prof. Hai Zhang
Biography
Hai Zhang is a Full Professor at the Harbin Institute of Technology and a National Young Talent of China. He received his Ph.D. degree from Laval University, Canada in 2017 under the supervision of Prof. Xavier Maldague, where he is currently an Adjunct Professor. Then, he was a postdoctoral research fellow at Laval University and University of Toronto with Prof. Andreas Mandelis and Prof. Shaker A. Meguid. He was also a visiting researcher in Fraunhofer EZRT, Fraunhofer IZFP and Technical University of Munich, Germany with Prof. Christian Grosse etc.
He published over 100 papers in peer-review journals and international conferences, and won 4 Best Paper Awards. He also contributed to several academic books including ASNT handbook. His H-index is 21 with more than 1200 citations and three ESI highly cited papers (by Scopus). His publications have been cited by many distinguished researchers in reputable journals such as Nature Nanotechnology.
He is also co-editor of Quantitative InfraRed Thermography Journal, Measurement and Russian Journal of Nondestructive Testing, guest editor of several scientific journals, e.g., Infrared Physics & Technology, and reviewer of more than 40 peer-review journals..
